Thai yoga massage
Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient form of healing originating in Northern
India and
travelling to Thailand around 2500bc along with Buddhism.
Combining acupressure and gentle yogic stretching, this unique massage
therapy rhythmically stimulates the ‘ten sen’ energy
line system.It intuitively treats the
individual’s body as a whole, releasing blockages and restoring
a free flow of energy,
supportively assisting the body in its natural tendency towards
self healing.
The massage is floor based on a futon and loose comfortable clothes
are worn.
A full massage consists of slow rhythmic palming and thumbing of
feet, legs, arms,
hands, abdomen and back, gently applied yoga stretches and acupressure,
finishing
with a relaxing facial massage.
The foot and hand massage concentrates on acupressure points and
is a good soothing alternative for those short of time

Pre & post treatment
Pre & post treatment
Avoid large meals on the day of your treatment and allow at least
an hour
after eating before your treatment begins.
It is important to avoid alcohol before and after a treatment as
this
will inhibit the body’s natural healing abilities.
It can take a few days for the energy to rebalance and the receiver
can
experience the beneficial effects for sometime after the treatment.
The
receiver can sometimes experience an initial feeling of tiredness
as the old
negative energies and toxins dissipate.
Then as new energy flows in, a feeling of regeneration should follow
rebalancing the body, mind and spirit.
